If you bought the version of Nier: Automata released on Steam in 2019, the 'Game of the YoRHa' version, you'll remember the disceptation. We titled it "playable but disappointing" thanks to issues including locked framerate, extended UI in ultrawide, awkward keyboard-and-computer mouse controls, and problems with resolution that could only be fixed by downloading a removed program to enable borderless windowed mode. Some players experienced stuttering and even crashes.

Atomic number 102 patch was released for any of these issues. Modders at length came to the deliverance with FAR, the Fix Automata Resoluteness tool, which not merely fixed the bugs but besides developed the visuals.

Along March 18, Nier: Automata was added to the Gage Pass for PC subscription service and put back up for sale on the Windows Computer storage. It's not the Gritty of the YoRHa edition, notwithstandin, but the 'Become As Gods' variant released happening Xbox One in 2018, with the DLC bundled in. Though it doesn't have the Valve Character Accessory (a Seth of big red valves you could jam into 2B's head), it's the same game—except that IT comes with borderless windowed mode as standard so it runs at the right resolution, there's an option to enable FidelityFX CAS, and players aren't reporting any of the stutters Beaver State crashes that constrained the previous Personal computer release.

Patc it still has a framerate capped at 60, this does seem similar an overall substantially better port than the one released on Steam. That version, enhanced by the FAR mod and its optical improvements, is presently the go-to-meeting available agency of playing Nier: Automata connected PC, but it's a shame that work was necessary in the first grade.

Jody's first reckoner was a Commodore 64, so He remembers having to use a code wheel to play Pool of Radiance. A onetime music journalist who interviewed everyone from Giorgio Moroder to Trent Reznor, Jody also co-hosted Australia's first radio show all but videogames, Zed Games. Atomic number 2's written for Rock Paper Shotgun, The Big Issue, GamesRadar, Zam, Glixel, and Corinthian.com, whose cheques with the bunny logo made for diverting conversations at the bank. Jody's starting time clause for Microcomputer Gamer was published in 2015, he edited PC Gamer Independent from 2017 to 2018, and actually did manoeuvre every Warhammer videogame.
